Özge Gürel, born in 1987, began studying acting while attending the International Trade Department at Beykent University. She started her acting career with a role in the TV series Kızım Nerede and went on to appear in Huzur Sokağı and Medcezir. Gürel gained international fame with her role in Kiraz Mevsimi, and later expanded her reach abroad with her performance in Bay Yanlış. She also caught attention in cinema with her role in the film Kar Kırmızı. Özge Gürel is married to fellow actor Serkan Çayoğlu.
