Born in Germany in 1987, Serkan Çayoğlu completed his university education in the field of economics in the same country. Çayoğlu's interest in acting started at early stages of his life and he took private acting classes. His first set experience was the TV series Kuzey Güney. Then he appeared in ''Zeytin Tepesi''. He also created a fan base abroad with his character Ayaz Dinçer, whom he portrayed in the ''Kiraz Mevsimi''. He continued to attract attention with his performances in ''Hayatımın Aşkı ''Love of My Life'', ''Börü (Wolf)'', ''Yeni Hayat (New Life)''. Most recently, Çayoğlu played the role of Bereli/Ankara/ Ali Ihsan Cenkeri as the lead role in the TV series Bir Zamanlar Kıbrıs/Kıbrıs: Zafere Doğru (Once Upon a Time in Cyprus). Çayoğlu has recently married to actress Özge Gürel.
