Born in the Netherlands in 1984, Funda Eryiğit graduated from the Theater Department of the Istanbul University State Conservatory. The characters she portrayed in the TV series ”Canım Ailem“, ”Karadayı“, ”Poyraz Karayel“ and ”Son Yaz" were among her unforgettable performances. Having a successful career in the movies and theater, the actress won the 'Best Actress' award at the 18th Sadri Alışık Theater and Cinema Actor Awards for her performance in the play “Sessizlik” staged at Istanbul State Theater, and the 23rd Yapı Kredi Award for her performance in “Fotoğraf 51”. She won the 'The Most Successful Actress of the Year' award at the Yapı Kredi Afife Awards. In addition to these rewards she received many other prestigious rewards. After taking part in Netflix's first original series “Hakan Muhafız”, he again took part in the leading roles of the series “Bir Başkadır”, one of the most block-buster productions of Netflix. With her performance in the ''Timsah Ateşi'' theater play, which was totally sold out last season, she was awarded the 'Best Actress Award' by New Theater Magazine Labor and Peace Awards with her co-star Hazar Ergüçlü.
