Funda Eryiğit, born in 1984 in the Netherlands, graduated from Istanbul University State Conservatory's Theatre Department. She became known for her unforgettable performances in TV series such as Canım Ailem, Karadayı, Poyraz Karayel, and Son Yaz. With a successful career in both cinema and theatre, Eryiğit has received numerous prestigious awards. She won the Best Actress award at the 18th Sadri Alışık Theatre and Cinema Awards for her performance in the play Sessizlik at IDT. She also received the Best Female Actress of the Year award at the 23rd Yapı Kredi Afife Awards for her role in Fotoğraf 51. After starring in Netflix's first original series Hakan Muhafız, Eryiğit went on to play a leading role in Bir Başkadır, one of the platform's most popular productions. She also starred in Netflix films Cici, Boğa Boğa, and Kül, all of which attracted significant attention. Currently, she continues to perform in the theatre production Timsah Ateşi for the third season. Eryiğit has a son named Civan.
